I’m Elizabeth Martinez, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Embodied Resilience Therapy. I provide immigration mental health evaluations that help clients share their stories with clarity, compassion, and professionalism. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and understood throughout this process.

As a child of immigrants, I understand firsthand the weight, resilience, and hope that come with building a life across borders. This perspective shapes how I approach every evaluation—with empathy, cultural awareness, and respect for the strength it takes to share your story.

My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and rooted in deep respect for each person’s experience. I understand how difficult it can be to discuss painful events, especially in the context of immigration. During our sessions, I create a calm and non-judgmental space where you can share your story safely. Every report I write is detailed, clinically sound, and tailored to the needs of your specific case.

I specialize in psychological evaluations for asylum, VAWA, U-Visa, and hardship waiver cases. My assessments are written with both empathy and precision—meeting legal and clinical standards while reflecting your humanity and resilience.

I’m licensed in Texas and hold advanced training in trauma-focused care and dialectical behavior therapy. My background includes years of working with immigrant and Latinx communities, helping individuals navigate transitions, trauma, and the healing process.
